Re: Post-production blog
Get Firefox I hate chrome it keeps saying Not responding, never happens for my firefox. Probably some reason for it that I can fix. Like whenever I start Chrome it says Not responding and stays on that for about 10 mins then just keeps doing that all the time.

Re: Post-production blog
I'm not going to switch to another browser just because it fails for someone else.
Re: Post-production blog
Sorry I am being a bit slow with the editing. I am almost there, just a couple more scenes to edit near the end.
Good to hear you got your GPU back, Bat. And I guess this is without having to pay for a brand new one?

I only paid ~20$ for the repair, and I don't think I'll be getting a new GPU anytime soon. I'll buy it when it will be the time when I can't play new videogames on medium settings.

Re: Post-production blog
I noticed there weren't any informative posts by me lately, so I am going to fix that.
Our current progress is - we are finished with editing overall for both interior and external parts, although missing some small clips during the exterior parts. Here is the list:

He tried to upload them, but in the end Mediafire said: "Connection failure".
Styx is probably uploading files as we speak, so let's pray that Mediafire won't be a bitch this time.

The shot with zombies (I underlined it) might be a problem for us. I would use cloning and just film it with only Styx, but I am not sure if that will work.Styx wrote:1:25 - Just need a shot out the of window. Might be good to get a video of the window in the internal set in order to frame to the scene outside.4:02 - There is no video at this point. It is as the door closes, it has to be a black screen.
5:50 to 6:10 - I am still not really happy with the editing but I can't really find the clips I want.
6:10 - Need to get a quick shot of Don in the boat looking back around really quickly
6:16 - Really need a shot of some zombies in the water, but no decent shots to use
6:40 - Need a very close up of Don's face as he is sailing away on the boat, then pan camera off on to the water

Re: Post-production blog
I have transferred all the HD clips I took to Bat, along with the Premier Pro project file. So what Bat is doing now is adding his HD clips with the VFX in to the project file. When this is done (not sure how long it will take, you would have to ask him), Bat and myself will get together and go through the last stage which will look at things like colour correction and bloom.
After that the movie will be finished and I will be able to upload it for people that worked on the project to see. But remember, I intend to make a trailer and release that first to the public. I want to build up a bit of hype around that before releasing the whole film.
Re: Post-production blog
During the trailer, you should fade in and out and all in slow mo. For dramatic effect :3.
Also, sounds great, keep up your amazingly confusing work

Re: Post-production blog
We already have a great idea for a trailer thanks to Styx
As for the editing, I am finished with the credits (hopefully) and now I need to buy a new mouse in order to start working on the project since my old mouse is dead and right now I am using graphics tablet for all the work. I am planning on buying it today, although it's raining as hell.

Re: Post-production blog
Our project looks like a total workprint right now, lol.
Green screens are popping in and out, some scenes are missing, sometimes we see the original movie, sometime it's just black screen.. xD
