Skin: Boy (nameless)

We don't learn the boy's name so we shall just call him boy. Here are a few pictures of him. We are going to have a hard time making him look smaller than the other characters I think.

The challenge with this character is to make him appear a boy when he'll be the same size as everybody else, and of course we still have the usual pixel constraints. Any ideas?

We can try to do it by using greenscreen and making the character smaller in post production. We only need the static camera during shots with the kid and match the room's size and lighting with the original. Maybe I'll try to do it in a small scale and see if it gets us somewhere.

Tell me ow it turns out It'll make the job of the main skinner a lot easier possibly. Would there be any problems with the pixels not being the right size to the point that it looks silly? A screenshot with this next to a regular-sized would be awesome so that we can combat any distorntional effects ahead of time. Don't want anything standing out, so the obvious pixels are still a thing we'll need to deal with.

Works better than I expected! Even though theoretically we should see big parallax inconsistencies you can't really notice them in MC world.

That's awesome and adorable. Using. Would you be comfortable doing this for the little boy? Also are you part of post-production, or are you also a skinning person?

I'll try to do my best at this.
I am mostly into post-production. Might as well help with shooting. I am not really good at skinning, but I'll try to make some sketches. If they will be good I'll upload them here.

Nah, we have plenty of skinners, I was just seeing whether you were one of my team lols. We'll get somebody on it You'll be amazing in post-production!

That was a very nice effect Batigor, I hadn't even thought about doing it that way.
The way I was going to do the boy was to have him stand in a hole that was filled with a half block, so he would be a half block shorter than anyone else. (Obviously we wouldn't be able to show his feet at all in the shot).
But if we can do this with greenscreening that will be pretty cool.

I am gonna try to skin this one if you don't mind. Or is someone already skinning this character?
